About MeeKhata
MeeKhata is India's leading payment reminder platform, trusted by 50,000+ businesses ranging from coaching institutes and fitness studios to wholesale distributors and logistics companies. The product automates payment reminders via WhatsApp, SMS, and email — helping businesses collect EMIs, invoices, and recurring bills in days rather than weeks.
Their website serves a high-intent audience: business owners who already have a collections problem and are actively searching for a solution. The traffic quality was never the issue. The conversion flow was.
The Challenge
High-intent traffic, low-conversion capture
MeeKhata was running paid and organic campaigns that brought the right visitors to the site. Business owners landed, read the pitch, and understood the value — but fewer than one in fifty left a contact detail. The conversion mechanism in place was a standard form: name, business name, phone number, email, all requested at once before any value had been delivered.
The problem was not the traffic, the copy, or the offer. It was the form itself. A static form asks for commitment before earning trust. A visitor who is 70% convinced but has one unanswered question — “does this work for a wholesale business?”, “will it integrate with Tally?” — has no way to get that answer before handing over their phone number. So they leave.
The team could see traffic in their analytics. They could not see where intent turned into exit, or why.
The Solution
An AI agent that answers first, then asks
MeeKhata deployed an EasyFunnel AI agent on their site with a single script tag. The agent was trained on their product details, integration list, pricing, and FAQs. When a visitor lands on the site, the agent opens the conversation — answering questions in the visitor's language before asking for anything in return.
Answer before asking
A distributor asking about Tally integration gets a direct answer. A coaching institute owner asking about WhatsApp reminders gets a real response. The agent draws on the configured knowledge base to answer the specific question in front of it — not a generic message pushing toward a form.
Capture at the moment of intent
Once a visitor has received a useful answer and engaged in the conversation, the agent asks for the one contact detail configured by the team — a phone number or email. One ask, at the right moment, after trust has been established. Not a wall of fields up front.
Funnel analytics close the loop
EasyFunnel's funnel analytics layer let the team see the full visitor journey: where people entered, how many started the conversation, and at which point the lead was captured. They could identify and fix drop-off points rather than guessing.
Leads delivered immediately
Each captured lead triggered an instant notification to the sales team — while the conversation was still live. Warm leads reached by a human within minutes close at higher rates than leads who fill a form and wait days for a follow-up.
The Results
3.5× more leads from identical traffic
The visitor-to-lead conversion rate moved from 2% to 7%. On the same traffic volume, that is 3.5 times the number of leads — without touching ad spend, landing page copy, or SEO.
The gain came entirely from the conversion step: visitors who previously had an unanswered question and left now had that question answered and stayed. Intent that existed in the traffic but could not get through the form now completed the journey.
Funnel analytics made the improvement measurable and repeatable. The team could see which conversation points drove drop-off, iterate on the knowledge base, and watch the conversion rate respond in real time.
Key takeaway
Most websites lose potential leads not because their product is wrong or their traffic is bad — but because the conversion mechanism asks for commitment before delivering value. An AI agent that answers first and asks once converts the visitors a static form would have turned away.
